Last weekend, the 9& 10
th, Chris had a race in Cedar City, UT. Since this was the closest race this season, we thought it would be nice to go and see him run. So since Nick was working OT this weekend, me and the kids headed down with Mom & Dad. We stayed in Beaver at a hotel and then got up REALLY early Saturday morning to make it to Cedar City to watch Chris run. The kids had a lot of fun staying in the hotel with
gma &
gpa!

We got to the golf course, where they ran, around 8:15, and it was
SOOOOOO cold!
Brrrr!

We bundled the kids up in blankets as best as we could.....

But it didn't take them long to figure out that running around would also keep them warm, or at least occupied long enough not to notice how cold it was!

Chris ran a good race. He said he was a bit tired from training so hard, but he still finished 6
th on his team, and I believe he was also the top freshman finisher. Good Job!!!!
It was a super fun weekend. Chris drove back North with us so that was fun too! Then Tiffany & Aaron came into town for the weekend, and we got to spend some time with them on Sunday evening. Then on Monday, we headed to
Tremonton and had YUMMY soup with them and Mom & Dad. We even ate our soup out of Pumpkin colored bread bowls. It was so good to see Tiff & Aaron, and the kids loved their dogs!! Spending time with family is
definitely the best way to spend your time!
