This picture is so funny. Natalie dropped some ranch on Hallie's face while eating her salad. Hallie didn't cry though until she cleaned it off!
It was so fun to have my Mom and Dad there too!

After dinner we headed back to Matt & Nat's and had cake and ice cream. Thanks again Natalie for the cake!!! :) I also got to open my presents. I got SO Spoiled!!! I got a cute watch from Matt & Nat, a gift card for Quilted Bear from Mom and Dad, and the best....a new Camera Lens from Nick! I was so surprised!! I had no idea he had gotten it for me and was even more impressed that he brought in the help of a neighbor to surprise me!! I also got the Glee 1 soundtrack, the book "City of Bones" and a BIG bag of M&M's from the kids! Like I said, I got spoiled!!!

I finished off my Birthday with a girls night with some friends from the ward. We had yummy chocolate cake, compliments of Jana, with homemade frosting and all!!! It was amazing!!!
It wasn't just a birthday girls night for me, it was Tiffany M's birthday the very next day. So we made it a joint celebration and it was super fun! We even had stuff for pedicures, painted toe nails and chatted the night away!!! Thanks girls for the fun, it was totally worth staying up WAY late!!
The next day, Tuesday, we picked up Nick early from work and dropped Kaylee off with Natalie in Ogden. Then we headed up Ogden Canyon and went skiing at Wolf Creek Mountain. A while ago I had realized it had been YEARS since we had been skiing and that it could be fun to teach Carson to ski, so I thought my birthday would be a great time to go!! Carson was excited and did such a good job!!! He had a smile on his face all day long and despite a few hard crashes kept getting up and going again!!!
They had a cute bunny hill with the coolest track to get back to the top. I think that was Carson's favorite part!!!
After a few runs down the bunny hill, we decided to try the big hill. Carson LOVED the big lift and once we got off he said he wanted to ride it again. I had to explain to him that we had to go down the hill first!

The first and second run down the big hill took us a bit of time but we slowly made progress and we thought we better take a hot cocoa break. Carson really liked that idea!!! So we headed into the lodge for a break.

Once we got warmed back up we headed back out to the bunny hill for some more practice.
Then we headed up the hill on the "Three Person Lift" which was fun since we could all ride together. Once Carson figured out how to keep his 'pizza' shape he was able to go without crashing every 15 feet. I would say "Pizza Stop" and he would make a BIG pizza, then I would say "Pizza Go" and he would make a small pizza and start going again. (The whole time I was skiing backwards to keep him from getting out of control). It was so much fun and I am so proud of how good Carson did!! I can't wait to take him again!
