We had a great weekend with my family last weekend! Marisa and her family got to my house Saturday, May 7th, around lunch and after taking some pictures for them, we got back home and had a yummy dinner with my parents and Matt's Family. We had
Ooey Gooey Chicken, it was so good! Nick kept the kids entertained with rides on his riding lawn mower before the engine finally blew, so now he needs to rebuild it again! Then the kids just played and later that night Me, Marisa, and my mom went for ice cream at Orange Leaf! Here are some pictures from our Saturday!
Saturday Night Matt & Nat were brave enough to take 4 extra kids home with them. Austin,
Braydon, Carson & Kaylee. It made for a very quiet and easy Sunday Morning. Church wasn't until one, so we had time to give Livy a bath and get all of the luncheon food ready. Mom also opened her mothers day gift from dad, which was a hand mixer. When
Mayci saw it on the box, she thought it was a toilet. It was so funny!
We made it to church and the Blessing was wonderful. Nicholas did a great job and I was so proud of him! It was amazing to see all of the love and support from our family who attended. Those who stood in the circle with Nick included Ted, Kerry, Ryan, Matt, Justin, Bishop
Hawkes, Brian Horne (Our Home Teacher) and Randall
Graff. I guess Brian did a good job of making sure
Alivia's binky stayed in her mouth!
After the blessing, we went back to our house and had a light luncheon. We served Chicken Salad
Croissant sandwiches, fruit, jello salad, veggies, and lots of yummy desserts!

It wasn't long after we got home and started eating that we got a call from Uncle Chris! We were able to
Skype with him! I think that was the highlight of Mom's day! We all enjoyed talking with him and showing him the two new babies!
It was a long but super fun day! And before Livy went to bed we got lots of cute smiles out of her! Isn't she cute?? It was a perfect way to spend Mothers Day!
