Conference Weekend...
We had a wonderful and very laid back Conference Weekend. Nick had to work for a few hours on Saturday, so we spent the day just chillin' and hanging out while listening to Conference. (Kaylee didn't even get her hair done that day...that is how laid back it was!). The kids are always coming up with crazy ways to entertain themselves. One of the things that they do a lot is get grocery bags and wear them as jump suits! They did this on Saturday, and they looked so silly so I had to take a picture!
Later on Saturday, Grandma Joy stopped by to visit and hold Alivia! It was fun to see her! She also brought me some tulips to plant in my flower beds! That was a great surprise!! On Sunday, Matt, Nat, and Hallie came down to spend the day with us. I got up early and made our traditional Conference Cakes. They turned out yummy! We even invited our new neighbors, the Garycochea's over to eat them with us during the first session. Matt did his part and helped whip the Whipping Cream.
Aunt Nana was in charge of the hot cocoa, with some help from Kaylee and Hallie.

Nick enjoyed some snuggle time with Alivia, and so did the rest of us that day!
Even Natalie got her turn and did a good job snuggling her for most of the morning session!
Matt & Nat brought their new puppy with them, and the kids had fun playing with her! Her name is Missy and she is such a cute little thing and did so good around the kids!
It was so fun having them down for conference! Natalie was such a great helper and did quite a bit of the clean up for us!
After conference and a yummy crock pot chicken dinner, we watched tangled before the Brower's headed back home. It was a wonderful weekend spent with our family and listening to our Prophet and Apostles. It is a good thing we have DVR, since having kids makes it a little tricky to hear EVERY word that is said! I have enjoyed playing it back while I am up with Alivia at night. I can't wait until the conference report comes out next month, it is another great way to remember all the great talks!
