End of May!

We ended our month of may with two fun filled days! On Monday, Memorial Day, because of the rainy weather, we decided to pass on the WX City 5K and Breakfast and ended up taking it easy that morning and then meeting up with family for a movie in Ogden. Matt's family and mom and dad went with us. We saw the movie "Hop" which was a good kids movie, but not one I would add to my personal collection. The kids had just as much after the movie running up and down the side walk and watching Hallie dance. She has the best little booty shake thing going on when she dances, it is so stinkin' cute!
We then headed home and had sloppy joes for dinner. Our computer has been on the fritz for the past 6 months or so, and we have tried several times reloading our operating system on it to improve it, but it is just getting worse. SO...we decided to finally buy a new laptop. So we spent a few hours on the computer and on the phone with a good friend who is a computer expert and we ordered a new computer from Dell. We are so excited to have a new computer, once it gets here which will take another week! The kids were so good to just play while we were figuring out the computer stuff, in fact they basically held FHE by themselves. I could hear them in the front room saying the prayer, pretending to read a scripture, and even singing some songs. It was SO cute. We did take them out to Orange Leaf for the FHE treat since we felt so bad for ignoring them for a few hours! They didn't seem to mind though. In fact, on Tuesday, they did it again, but this time they dressed up in Kaylee's clothes to do it. (See picture below). On Tuesday, Kaylee had school for a make up day, and Carson went to school and had field day. Kaylee looked so cute with her new bow that matched her outfit so I had to take a picture!
Carson had a soccer game Tuesday evening and then we had pizza for dinner afterwards. Then we enjoyed the rest of the evening outside playing. Summertime is great since the kids can play outside and just have a blast, but it means nightly baths since they get so dirty, there is no way they can go to bed without a bath!
Even Alivia got a bath that night!
Alivia loves bath time, just like the other kids did! Her hair goes crazy though after she is bathed and dried off. It is cute! It just stands up everywhere! I am hoping that her hair stays in and just gets thicker, rather than going bald before it comes back in thick! Fingers crossed! It was a great month of May, very wet and cold, but very fun! We are excited for June!
