On Monday, we left for the Brower Family Reunion in Altamont, UT. It is on my Dad's side of the family and it was so good to see all of them again. We hold this reunion every two years and it is so fun to see how much our family has grown! My Uncle Randy was in charge of the reunion this year and they rented this AMAZING cabin at Hidden Springs Ranch. This cabin was HUGE!!! Just take a look for yourself....this is the back of the Cabin....

It had a pool, hot tub, volleyball area, activities center that included a rock climbing wall, fishing ponds, four wheeler trails, and MORE!!!! We didn't waste anytime Monday afternoon getting into the pool.

My cousin Caprice and her new baby girl, Bella, also enjoyed the sunshine! (Bella was wearing the cutest yellow polka dot swimming suit!)
It was an amazing place and we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub everyday we were there!
The food was also amazing....they had a catered Dutch oven dinner Mon and Tues night. It was SO yummy!!! Out of my family, my parents, my family, Tiffany & Aaron, Paul and Emily were able to attend. We missed Matt, Marisa, and their families, and of course Elder Brower.
The inside of the cabin was amazing....they use it a lot to host Weddings, Family Reunions, Camps, business parties, and more. The upstairs hosted about 10 Rooms and the downstairs hosted 10 rooms that can accommodate up to 12 people in each room. I couldn't get over how BIG it was!
The best part about being at the reunion, was of course spending time with family and letting my kids get to know them all better. They were all so good to Carson and Kaylee. They both really enjoyed their Aunt Tiffany!
After dinner Monday evening, Nicholas and Kaylee spent a bit of time riding bikes in front of the cabin.
We were also able to enjoy some time just visiting with family.
The little kids had a blast playing in the swing set that was on the side of the cabin, just outside our bedroom window and the kitchen.
On Tuesday, I got up and ran with my cousins daughter, Kristen who is in college at BYU. We ran about 4 miles and it was a beautiful morning for a run. I was glad that there was someone to run with so I wouldn't get too lost out in the middle of no where. There was no other houses or cabins for miles around, so it was very peaceful! After we got back and had omelets for breakfast, we got ready to head to Vernal to the Dinosaur Museum. The kids had fun looking at all the dinosaur stuff they had there. I was surprised that it wasn't very big. I expected it to be like the one at Thanksgiving point, but it was a bit smaller I think. But it was still fun to go and spend time with family! And I had never been to Vernal before, so that was good to see what that town was like! While we were there, I have been suffering from a tooth ache and so thank goodness there was a Walgreens there so I could have my Dentist call me in a Rx for some pain medicine to get me through until I could get back home to see him. Vernal actually had quite a few stores like Walmart and other places that I was surprised to see in such a small town. Back to the Museum....here are a few pictures from our trip there. This is Kaylee and Mason. Mason is my Cousin Caprice and her husband Tyler's son. He is about 4 months older than Kaylee. There were super cute together!!!

Our family in front of one of the rock displays.
We went to go to the next part of the museum, and couldn't see where Kaylee and Mason had gone. It was funny to find them in the Kids Room playing with toy dinosaurs, they found all by themselves!

After the Dinosaur Museum, we headed to the city park and had a picnic with sandwiches and chips. My Dad, Nick, and Aaron took off and went fishing while we took the kids back to the Cabin in Altamont. (Which was about 1 hour away from Vernal). When we got home we played in pool again and then got ready for dinner, which was steak that night! This is Jake, who is my cousin Melanie's son, and his like a month or so younger than Kaylee. They also played really well together! It was just so great having kids all the same age!
While we waited for dinner, we did some visiting, played games, and rode the four wheelers and bikes.

Did I mention the food was amazing.....??? This is what we had for dessert Tues night. Chocolate Cake! Wow!!!!! (It was made in a dutch oven!)
Carson enjoyed all of dinner!!!
It was so fun getting to eat out on the deck every night with our family! It was beautiful weather! It rained a bit, but it was not cold and not hot! It was perfect!
After Dinner, Krista and Carson were going to ride the four wheeler over to one of the fishing ponds, but first needed help from Aunt Tiff to get the pole ready!
Kaylee was so cute all week, she was very photogenic for the camera!
This is my amazing Aunt Sharon who, along with my her husband Randy, planned the reunion. They did a great job and she went above and beyond what anyone expected! Thanks again for the wonderful job you did!!!!
I also was glad my Mom and Dad could be there this year! We love spending time with them and my kids loved having them around to play with too!!!
Here is Mason and Kaylee again.....Kaylee went up to Mason and insisted that he hold her hand, then they went walking off to go play under the stairs! It was so cute to watch, because they didn't even know I was watching them!
After Daddy got back from fishing, he put a fishing jacket on Carson and they all headed back over to the fishing pond to do some more fishing! Aren't they so cute???
Here is Kaylee, giving HUGS to Uncle Aaron...I think she likes him a little bit!!!!
Tuesday was also Krista's 15th Birthday! So while we were there she got to open a few presents!
The first one was a collage that we put together from the photo shoot we did on Saturday with her! I think she liked it
But I think her favorite gift was the Camera she got from Tiff and Aaron....she loves photography and was pretty excited about getting a new digital camera!
It was also Carpice's Bday that day! I won't tell you how old she is, but if you double Krista's Age, you will be spot on! hehe!!!
We made a chocolate cake for them and we sang them both Happy Birthday! But after the wonderful dessert we had that night, the cake really didn't get eaten....at least by the adults!
Again, more fourwheeler rides and fishing!!!
There were doing catch and release, but one of the fish didn't get the release part very well, so they brought it home to eat!Wednesday morning, we got up and a few of us girls did the Jillian 7 Circut workout! It was fun to have someone to work out with! It made it more fun! We had french toast for breakfast, played in the pool, then packed everything back into the van and headed out about noon. We took a slightly different way home and it was a very beautiful scenic drive! We stopped in Kamas and ate at Dick's Drive In, which was YUMMMY! The buns for their hamburgers were amazing, they were more like square toasted rolls. I had their Garden burger and it was amazing!!!! So if you are ever in Kamas....it is definitly worth a stop there!! Kaylee and Carson got a Corn Dog and loved it!!!!
We were sad to have to leave, but we made some great memories and had a wonderful time getting to know our extended family better! We can't wait until 2012 to do it again!!!!
