After a delay with his VISA, Chris entered the Provo MTC today. This was one week later than he was supposed to go and will be there until they get his VISA and then he will transfer to the Brazil MTC. He was more than ready to go! Before he left, we met up at the Village Inn in Roy for breakfast. Nick and Matt were able to take a break from work and meet us there as well. We only wish we could have had Marisa and Tiffany with us too! Here are a few pictures from today.
I think my kids are really going to miss Uncle Chris. Kaylee adores him and Carson thinks he is so fun to play with. We will have to do our best to keep in touch with him while he is gone!
Then came all the HUGS!!!!!!!
Once we said goodbye, Mom and Dad took Chris down to Provo to drop him off curbside at the MTC.
We already got an email from him tonight saying that he has a half Pday on Saturday and will email us again then. And to also give us his new email address. I will post it as soon as I make sure it is okay to share with everyone. I just can't believe that our baby brother is on his mission. I knew this day would eventually come, but I just can't believe it is here. Two years sounds like such a long time, but I know he will be home before we know it!
